I must dance, I must move, I must create, I must make art because it makes no sense not to.

I am a dancer & mover of energy in the forms of movement, words, and acupuncture.

I do this because the choice is not mine. I dance because if I weren't, I'd be doing a disservice to myself, and in that, to others.

I dance because when I move I feel the swivel of my hips, the skimming of my toes, and the stomping of my calloused feet against the ground beneath, & my purpose returns in that illuminating way that I hadn't known it had left....
